I don't understand why they have done what they've done on "Passions."
Liza Huber, Susan Lucci's daughter, originally played Gwen. She decided she didn't want to do the show anymore, so she left. I am not sure of the name of the girl who replaced her, but I really liked her. I thought she was better than Liza. She made Gwen more sympathetic. I think that's important. You don't want a purely evil character. Most evil characters should have a sympathetic side. This actress was really good. Confident, pretty, talented. Suddenly, Liza Huber shows back up in the role.
First of all, the replacement was better, UNLESS they wanted to go back to a one-note character who was not sympathetic. Secondly, the replacement got screwed. Liza gave up the role. Then she snaps her fingers, expresses her interest, & gets her role back....the replacement is cast aside like yesterday's news, even though she has carried this role a longer amount of time than Liza originally did. I don't get it. Whatever.
