Just wanted to say....

....my tailbone hurts SO bad, I cannot even describe it! And I declined pain medication, so I suppose I have to suffer.

Can anyone tell me WHY my tailbone would hurt. I was struck---hard---from the side, on the passenger door. I was wearing my seatbelt. General soreness I can explain away to tensing when I realized I was about to be hit (yes, I knew). My midback pain...well, I was bounced pretty hard...back pain is common following a traffic accident. But my tailbone? It hurts SOOOOO bad to sit! Well, why don't you get off your butt at the computer & go lay down? Because it doesn't feel any better to lay down on my ass than to sit on it, & I cannot sleep on my stomach. Sleeping on my side hurts my midback. No matter what I do, I hurt. But seriously....but tailbone hurts tremendously, & I honestly CANNOT figure out WHY. For one thing, as far as being bruised from a good "bounce," I sit on 2 pillows (no short jokes, please!). Plus, my butt is pretty padded naturally (no ghetto booty jokes, please!). I have been in 2-3 other car accidents, & while always having neck/back pain, I have NEVER hurt in my bum. This is, literally, a major pain in my ass.

Can anyone speculate as to why my tailbone would be so badly hurt/bruised/whatever????
